In celebration of TVXQ's 10th anniversary, fans will be donating towards the creation of a 'TVXQ Forest' near Yeouido. As TVXQ's official color is red, the fans will be planting trees that are mostly red, such as the red plum tree.
Fans created a website on the 6th in hopes of raising 5,000,000 won (~ $4,600 USD) for their event, which is expected to occur in November. As of September 9, they have exceeded their initial goal by raising 5,800,000 won (~ $5,300 USD). Once the fundraising is complete, they will decide on the land for their forest.
In response to the fans' efforts, a representative of SM Entertainment said, "We are thankful because the fans always seem to be donating to a good cause for each commemoration."
