Earlier today, we reported on a rumor concerning IU's involvement in indie band Busker Busker's long-awaited second album. Although the news was exciting, the band has stepped forward to deny any involvement with the singer for their upcoming release.
The rumors began when eagle-eyed viewers noticed the words 'B IU' emblazoned on the side of a passing truck in their latest teaser video. Despite the hopes of many fans, Busker Busker's management refuted reports that the letters had a secret meaning.

"We're not sure how those letters came to be there," said a representative for Busker Busker's agency. "We are positive that IU is not featuring in Busker Busker's album, and we haven't heard anything special so we don't know how it happened."
Busker Busker will be releasing their new album on September 25. IU, meanwhile, is also gearing up for her comeback with her third full album on October 7.
