On SBS's 'Incarnation,' After School's UEE addressed the rumor that she has a large sponsor helping her advancement. She said she found out about this unfair claim through the internet and has been wanting to settle it once and for all.
UEE believes the rumor might have started because she was featured in highly competitive advertisements for things like cell phones and soju. However, she wholeheartedly denies that such a rumor is true.
Once, her friend was told by her assistant that UEE has a sponsor. Her friend responded with, "She's not that type of girl." However, her assistant said, "You're the only one who doesn't know," causing the friend to go to UEE to ask her about it personally.
A sponsor is someone who promises to help advance a celebrity career in exchange for "favors".
