How did Se7en and Sangchu pay 340,000 KRW (approximately $305 USD) for their massage parlor visit? As soldiers, they're supposed to only have access to their monthly soldier pay, which is 105,800 KRW per month (approximately $95 USD).
However, during their inspection / investigation, Se7en and Sangchu confessed that they had received 2 checks from Tae Jin Ah that were worth 1,000,000 KRW (approximately $897 USD) each. Tae Jin Ah is Sangchu's CEO at YMC Entertainment.
However, even if the pair had a check from Tae Jin Ah, there is no legal issue. Although a rep from the Ministry of Defense said, "We haven't confirmed how they received the check", the rep proposed that the two had received the check from Tae Jin Ah or a common friend while they were performing. The Ministry of Defense also added, "If they say they got it as a friend, there is nothing problematic."
