On the August 15th episode of KBS' 'Happy Together', Jung Joon Young revealed why he took on so many jobs despite being from a well-off family.
According to the singer, he lived a global childhood, residing in Indonesia, China, France, the Philippines, and even Japan when he was younger. When he returned to Korea, he took on various jobs such as sorting shipments, modeling for a shopping mall, and working at a restaurant.
When the MCs asked him why he worked so many jobs when he had parents who could help him out, Jung Joon Young replied, "I secretly came to Korea when I was 19. I wanted to pursue music. I got caught by my parents, and they asked me if I was coming back or going to live on my own, so I told them I would live on my own."
