It's no secret that Solbi went under the knife, so the singer revealed why she did it in the first place.
On the July 13th broadcast of MBC's 'Human Documentary', Solbi shared, "I thought it would help me out in this industry, and I wanted to start anew. I thought the answer was plastic surgery."
"I went under the knife. I wanted to change my face. I thought that if I change my face, my life would change too. And if my life changes, then my dreams would change as well. I think I was just disheartened by everything."
Solbi revealed that the backlash from netizens for her change in appearance left her even more hurt, but she was eventually able to smile again and make a comeback.
