Mnet makes its decision about whether to broadcast 'Band Generation' after finalist Galaxy Express' Lee Joo Hyun's arrest

If you recall, Mnet was previously left in a sticky situation since Galaxy Express just finished filming the final round for Mnet's reality show 'Band Generation', which was scheduled to air the footage on the 9th.

The show wasn't sure about what to do with one of their finalists having been embroiled in a controversy, but they've now announced their decision to air the show as scheduled but edit out Lee Joo Hyun's scenes while keeping the scenes containing the two other members.

"We have made this decision after thinking about all the viewers, the spectators that attended as well as the effort that Day Break and Romantic Punch have put in. We will put in captions during the show to remind viewers that this had been pre-recorded and ask for their understanding in some of the scenes," a rep said.

In the upcoming July 9th broadcast, Galaxy Express, Daybreak, and Romantic Punch will face off for the winning title.
