He was a guest on the July 17 installment of 'Radio Star'. The MCs brought up the subject of when he revealed his affection for Bora. The MCs then stated, "You talked about a lot of other celebrities besides Bora". He explained, "I kept talking about her, and everyone kept asking about her. I realized it couldn't continue and so I should talk about others. I also mentioned KARA's Jiyoung and Girl's Day's Minah. But Bora is still the best."

But he revealed, "After I talked about Bora, I saw her backstage at a music show. Bora was walking in my direction from far away, but she saw me and just avoided me. I got hurt from that."

He concluded his story with the joke, "So I can never wear purple (bora in Korean)."
