He recorded a whopping 230,000+ friends in one day since he created his Naver 'LINE' messenger account. He opened one on the 28th, and immediately he was friends with over 230,000 people. 

 

One of his secrets to being so popular might be that he talks to his fans in Korean, Japanese, English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese Chinese, so fans from literally all over the world can understand what he wants to say.
