Son Ho Young had a difficult time leaving his girlfriend's wake.
On May 22 at 9AM, he attended his girlfriend's wake which was held at the Medical Funeral Hall in Gangnam, and he remained there for the entire day. Witnesses say he was dressed in black for the wake, and seemed to have lost a lot of weight in the short time since the news of his girlfriend's death. The funeral hall employees refused all entry to anyone else who was not family.
One of the employees said, "He is incredibly sad. We don't know how long he will be there." Another reported that only a few family members are staying at the hall.
He also stayed by his girlfriend's side for her funeral on May 23, which was held at Seoul Memorial Park in Wonji-dong.
According to Son Ho Young's close friends, the pair were inseparable, and had only had a small argument before her sudden death. Our hearts go out to Son Ho Young and the family of the deceased.
