After SBS and MBC passed the broadcast regulations for "Gentleman", KBS has announced that they will be reconsidering their decision.

KBS said, "There was a point in the internal decisions that was wrong, so we are planning to reevaluate the MV again. There is no decided date on when the reevaluation will take place."

Previously, KBS had deemed the MV unfit for broadcast. However, it was later revealed that only 3 evaluators were present at the evaluation proceeding, and therefore it was deemed an improper evaluation. KBS said, "Because of the flaw in the procedure, the decision [that Psy's MV was unsuitable for broadcast] is not validated. We don't understand why they went so far to decide that the MV was unsuitable for broadcast."

Another KBS representative explained, "There were a lot of staff asking about the MV, so 4 out of the 7 evaluators hurried to get together. However, 1 evaluator suffered a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital, so only 3 attended. All 3 present agreed that the MV was unsuitable for broadcast. However, even that one person who went to the hospital had entrusted his decision to the 3 left. When we checked again later, they decided to go along with the decision that it was unsuitable. No matter what the decision, since the procedure was against the rules, we will be reevaluating it soon."
