'The Creators Project' is a project that is hosted by Intel and VICE. It is a worldwide project that supports new and rising artists that use technology to go past the boundaries of creative expression.
The project opened in San Francisco, Paris, Sao Paolo, and Beijing, and made its fifth and final stop in Seoul from September 21st to 23rd at the Seoul Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The event boasted of a lineup of strong live performances and studio works, making the Design Plaza an interactive and visual culture hub. On the 22nd, artists such as Nosaj Thing, Drunken Tiger, 2NE1, IDIOTAPE, 3rd Line Butterfly, and Vidulgi OoyoO performed for the music concert.
Tiger JK was the representative artist for Korea for the 3rd straight year. He has participated in the planning and directing of Yoon Mi Rae's "Get It In" with the visual artist Lumpens, receiving support from Intel and VICE. He said, "Last year, I saw Intel technology that I couldn't even imagine while I was working with the visual artists Lumpens, supported by both Intel and VICE. I set my focus on making something more detailed and fantastic this time to make a public commercial to prevent school violence. I don't know much about technology, but Intel's technology is always being used in performance stages. I know many artists saw the light through The Creators Project. I look forward to The Creators Project discovering many more artists."
Tiger JK is currently propelling 'The Wanderers' project with Yoon Mi Rae and visual artist Lumpens to prevent school violence.
