It's early in the morning, and in your half-conscious state, you find yourself in one of the most comfortable sleeping positions ever. Wrapped inside the warmth of your blanket cocoon and nestled into the cloud that is your soft bed, you feel as if you could spend the rest of your life just comfortably hibernating. Of course, that's when the alarm decides to go off, screeching into your ear that it's the beginning of a new day. You drowsily ask for five minutes, but you actually want an eternity. As life nags at your brain with all the work you have to do, you know that you eventually will have to get up, and stumble out.
In this edition of Music Therapy, allkpop presents a playlist that just might make sluggish mornings like these a bit easier to endure. Take a listen to our selection of both relaxing and energetic tunes, start your day with more of a spring to your step, and get to conquering the day!

-- PART 1: Morning Coffee --
Ga-In & Ra.D's "Take Out": As you grab yourself a nice cup of coffee and wait for the zombie exhaustion to fade away, consider listening to some jazzy and relaxing cafe music to make the gradual wake-up process more pleasant. Brown Eyed Girls member Ga-In and Ra.D's soft voices combined with the calm yet perky tune of their collaborative single can help to gently guide you out of your dreamy state as the caffeine finally starts to kick in.
First verse:
Take out, I carry my coffee and walk out
as I hum through my nose [and tread with] light footsteps.
The weather is nice; although it's hot, the sunlight is also nice.
On such a pretty day, what are you possibly doing?

-- PART 2: Morning Pick Me Up --
Daesung's "Wings": On mornings when the caffeine just isn't enough to get you excited, and the day laying ahead of you seems too much to confront or handle, try lending an ear to songs pumped with energy. Complete with encouraging lyrics, powerful vocals, and uplifting sounds, Daesung's song in particular will help to brighten your mood as you skip off to do your chores with a new found confidence.
Chorus:
Today is okay. Shout even louder, yeah.
Something good will happen.
It's okay, just for tonight, even though it's beautiful,
[you] can cry even louder.
I will embrace you. Right now I will fly and run into this moment.

Clazziquai's "Lazy Sunday Morning": After a long week of hard work, you may feel like rewarding yourself with some extra sleep during the weekend mornings. As you roll around a bed that feels like heaven and slowly wake up to belatedly greet the afternoon, why not listen to some chill acoustic music to ease you into your day? Clazziquai's smooth vocals and fun, English lyrics will get you smiling as you lazily enjoy the lull of the moment before getting up and active again.
2nd Verse:
It's getting late on Sunday morning, I get up and see
[the] silly TV talking by itself in the living room.
I slept on the sofa again, I don't remember
the ending of that late night movie.
And my old lady she don't care
as I look for food in the fridge.
Pre-Chorus:
Well this is life.
Well this is my life.
Well this is life:
to plan a weekend without you.
