On the episode of 'Superstar K4' broadcast on September 7th, Lee Seung Gi's cousin caught the eyes of viewers as he auditioned for the show.

Lee Seung Gi's cousin was one of the contestants for the Seoul preliminaries and the judges were able to immediately spot the similarities between his smile and Lee Seung Gi's.

As he emerged, the judges commented, "Your smile is very reminiscent of Lee Seung Gi's". Lee Jung Gi, the contestant then further discussed his relationship to the singer stating, "When I was young, I was often told that I look a lot like Seung Gi hyung. Watching hyung, I dreamed of becoming a singer myself."

However, as the audition came to a close, judge Lee Seung Chul coldly commented, "It doesn't seem like you're going to end up like your hyung. You were not born with a singing ability. You're tone-deaf."

Viewers commented, "I felt bad seeing Lee Seung Gi's cousin get eliminated," "To be honest, he was pretty bad," and more.
