BoA shared about her altered attitude going into 'K-Pop Star Season 2.'
During the interview for her new album, BoA shared a little about SBS' 'K-Pop Star 2.'
When asked about why SM Entertainment didn't cast anyone from season 1, BoA answered, "The rules were that the winner will pick the agency, and the format was that we didn't need to pick anyone from the runner-up. That's why the casting was free will starting from the runner-up."
In addition, it became a hot issue when BoA shed tears after watching Park Ji Min's performance during season 1. BoA shared, "I cried because I felt bad for Ji Min. If you look at the participants' schedule, after they finish their performance on Sunday, they pick a new song until Saturday. They do other missions and probably didn't have much time to practice. At her age, I had also feared getting on stage when working abroad so I think I had empathy for her."
About her attitude going into season 2, BoA carefully answered, "I think it will be good to not show my emotions. First of all, I'm trying to let my words be few. But it doesn't do anything for the judge to say, 'You should do it like this.' For an audition program, the participant's process of growth is more important than the judges' comments, so my comments and attitude will change accordingly. I think it's more important to see what kind of participants will audition rather than the judges."
Meanwhile, BoA is currently promoting her song "Only One".
