JYP Entertainment's J.Y. Park shared his thoughts on taking up a role in his first big-screen film.
J.Y. Park attended the '5 Million Dollar Man' showcase held in Apgujeong on June 13th and remarked, "Being labeled a rookie makes me feel extremely nervous and anxious, but I like this feeling."
"The writer of 'Slave Hunters' told me that there was a script he had written with me in mind," he continued. "I received the script later on, and I was so honored that the greatest writer in Korea would think of a rookie like me while writing a new project. I was so dumbfounded and happy, wondering how such good fortune had found someone like me."
J.Y. Park made his entrance onto the K-Pop scene as a solo artist in 1994, and transformed into a producer in 1999, since producing some of today's greatest artists. Having displayed his acting skills in 'Dream High' previously, J.Y. Park continues to show his fans different sides of himself.
His new movie '5 Million Dollar Man' hits the big screens on July 19th.
