A few days ago, we reported that MBC's popular variety show 'Infinity Challenge' provoked a warning from the Korea Communications Standards Commission for its 'improper' use of language and body humor.
The news drew many complaints and tongue-in-cheek criticism from netizens, and it appears that the 'Infinity Challenge' producers feel the same way. In the latest episode of MBC's flagship variety program, they managed to show their unhappiness at the attempts by inserting several witty captions.
The captions came at the point where cast member Park Myung Soo would try to kick fellow member Jung Hyung Don. The screen froze a second before contact would've been made, and an unusually-shaped caption popped up, reading, "maintain proper manners!" The caption was shown twice throughout the episode.
The joke notwithstanding, however, 'Infinity Challenge' PD Kim Tae Ho recently said he would "fill the role of someone who will provide wholesome laughs and proper language" as a response to the government warning.
