Idol groups are often criticized for their imbalanced part distributions, leaving many netizens to dub them as "five second singers". But MBLAQ is confident that they can avoid such controversies with their comeback track, "Mona Lisa". Through this promotion cycle, the boys revealed that their goal was to get rid of all such controversies right from the roots by showing that idol groups can distribute parts evenly. They stated, "The controversy first emerged because members couldn't fully express their parts in the given time before the song moved on to another member's parts. With our title track, 'Mona Lisa', we made sure to distribute the parts evenly so that each member can sing as long as possible." As such, Thunder, who previously rapped sporadically throughout their songs, is now focusing on his singing parts. The song has also raised the bar with their vocal line, which in turn has better brought out the charms of each of the members. As they are currently also preparing for their first concert on August 20th, the boys concluded, "It's important to clear your hearts and enjoy the stage. We're sure that if we work hard to show MBLAQ's style, our fans will recognize that." Source + Photos: SPN via Nate
