It's not unusual for idol groups to not have cell phones, since agencies usually confiscate them in order to encourage their artists to focus on their training, and to prevent them from seeing anti-fan comments. Still, idols are usually promised cell phones once they make notable achievements, like winning first place on music shows, so the fact that SECRET still lacks personal phones comes as a surprise to most fans. One representative confirmed, "The members do not have cell phones. They've been without them for two years, so the members are used to it and don't feel any discomfort from lacking one. Any important calls they have to make, they go through their manager's phone or the phone in the agency.
