Entertainer and well-known animal rights advocate Lee Hyori recently posted a semi-controversial tweet that has netizens buzzing.
Apparently, Hyori is intensely against a fur show that's coming up in Seoul as she expressed disapproval of the current legal standing of furs in the city.
She tweeted yesterday, "[To the person who leads Seoul], they say that on May 16th in West Hollywood, CA, it became illegal to sell fur coats. Are you really going to stand by and let the fur show open in Seoul?"
Fans seeing the tweet responded, "Of course, it's Lee Hyori," and "We have to stop the sacrifice of poor animals for people's use."
