Singer Kim Sori recently met with reporters and revealed that she was almost casted for KBS's "Dream High". She stated, "I made it to the final audition, but was unfortunately eliminated. Watching the drama after that made me feel really upset." Sori first caught the producers' eyes with her impressive dance skills, and the director himself was determined to hand her a role in the drama. Through various auditions, he attempted to find a character that would suit her. "I auditioned several times, and the script up to the third episode even had my name in it. However, I wasn't good enough in acting to take on a teacher's role, and visually, I wasn't young enough to play the role of a student. I think all of those factors eventually became obstacles for me," she explained. The director was still determined, though, and even asked her to come audition in a school uniform despite her older age. She concluded, "It's upsetting, but the drama must've not been for me. I'm still glad that the director saw something in me, though." Source: TV Daily via Nate
