Girl group SECRET recently made a return through a '60s Hollywood 'pin up girl' concept with "Shy Boy." The girls shed their trademark diva concept for something a little bit more light-hearteded and fun. Zinger began, "We worried whether people would view our retro concept as 'too old-fashioned', and whether the clothes would fit our image. It was depressing having to deal with the sudden change." Their performance itself is unique in that it looks like it came straight from a musical. SECRET had made their mark as a girl group with powerful dance moves in their previous concept, but went for something lighter and cuter, such as the whispers and exaggerated hand movements. Hyosung added, "We sometimes wonder whether it's okay to dance like this," while Sunhwa stated, "Before, we always had a dance move where we had to sit up and down really fast, but since we don't have that in this choreography, it's definitely a lot easier." JiEun continued, "In 'Magic' and 'Madonna,' there were a lot of moves that required us to run around and shake our bodies.�We feel a lot more free this time around.�We can joke and play and act a lot more natural." Zinger stated, "We get up on stage with a comfortable feeling.�People who viewed our performances also told us that they feel that we've gotten a lot more friendlier as well. I think we've acquired more children fans." Having won their first award at "M! Countdown" last week, the girls were asked about their future goals. Hyosung responded, "We've been running while just looking straight ahead for some time, and now we feel a sense of accomplishment.�Winning first place was something we were all determined to do, which was why we stepped away from musicals or solo activities and focused as a group."� Zinger concluded, "I want to film for a CF and even perform overseas. Once our group holds place, want to expand into solo activities with a hip hop album that features strong rapping."
