After a two year and two month hiatus, singer Kim Bum Soo will be returning to the music scene with his 7th full length album, titled "Solista: Part 1". His last album, "The Practical Usage of Sadness" was released in August 2008, and he has since kept busy by performing live concerts and doing OST work for movies and dramas, like SBS's "Giant". The upcoming album's concept of "Solista" comes from the word soloist, and will have a sophisticated, classy Italian theme as it showcases many different styles. A representative said, "We have put a lot of effort into the 7th album, and it is bound to surprise people on how it sounds like it was composed by many different musicians. We want all the tracks to be loved, so we will be releasing them in divided parts." Kim Bum Soo's album is scheduled to be released on the 29th.
