Cute power vocalist IU has recently joined an environmental campaign titled SAVe tHE AiR where she acts as a mentor to young children to make them aware about how harsh air pollution can be in today's society. SAVe tHE AiR is an on-going campaign where IU also sells t-shirts with a variety of messages directly to children and adults alike. To further help the cause, UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) has also agreed to donate some revenue from their oil sales for the time being. All of the proceeds from t-shirt sales are sent to the Korean Council to help fund environmental programs to stop pollution. Yesterday, IU released a sweet promotional video where she plays some of her adorable song Marshmellow as well as Nagging, and talked about the environment and pollution. She also autographed 100 t-shirts to put on sale, and signed 30 t-shirts to give away to her fans for free as a 'thank you' gift. The agency behind this creative idea, Jin Air, stated "We felt IU would be the best spokesperson for season 2 of our campaign. She has humor and adorable looks, but besides that, she also takes her work seriously which is great."
