PD Kim Jung Kwan of Chin Chin Radio has recently come out to clear up the reason behind SNSD / Girls' Generation Taeyeon's inappropriate laughter on air. He stated:

"Taeyeon is not at fault, despite what the media is stating about the issue. This whole thing should never have been blown out of proportion. Taeyeon was not laughing at the letter, nor was she laughing at a typo in the script. There was an occurrence at the studio which was what really caused her laughter. The occurrence is something I can't really explain right now, but Taeyeon had apologized three times afterward. She really had no reason to apologize as this was never supposed to be an issue. It's unfortunate to see the media taking advantage of a situation and accusing her of something such as that."
