DJ Koo (Goo Joon Yeop), former member of dance duo Clon, recently proved that music-mixing wasn't his only techy talent. The DJ recently revealed on his blog that he had successfully disassembled and reassembled his iPhone, a feat that has caught the attention of many netizens. Titling his blog entry "How to disassemble the iPhone," the DJ not only posted photos of the dissembling process, but also provided an explanation. "I wanted to disassemble the iPhone because I wanted to change it to the gold border," he wrote. "However, I instead discovered that you can change the battery and LCD screen." Netizens were impressed with DJ Koo's work and posted comments such as, "It's a great accomplishment that he managed to do that by himself," and "he seems to be good with his hands." Most of you guys probably aren't familiar with DJ Koo since Clon was formed in 1996. Clon is often credited as being one of the first Korean artists to incorporate crisp and energizing choreography into their music. DJ Koo became known for his work as a tecktonik DJ after Clon's disbandment, playing music mixed with songs that he wrote and also performing his own style of tecktonik dance. Tecktonik, or electro dance, is a form of dance based on a blend of hip hop, rave, and techno.
