Recently, the members of SS501 talked with reporters about their recent comeback and the subject of leader Kim Hyun Joong's bout with swine flu / H1N1 came up. Kim Hyun Joong stated that the month of September was a very difficult time for him. At the time, he re-assured others saying everything is fine but now that the H1N1 ordeal is over he revealed how painful it actually was for him. He had constant stomach pains, bowel movements, diarrhea. His body was always hot and had very high temperature readings (104°F). He would cough non stop and had a severe sore throat. However, despite all this, he said the most difficult thing for him to endure was being alone in the hospital room all by himself (he was quarantined for a short while). Fellow SS501 member Park Jung Min stated that it was a very scary time for them. Not only were they concerned about Kim Hyun Joong's health but there were also added stress / concerns over their upcoming album. Kim Hyun Joong reassured everyone that he's completely recovered now and that he has worked very hard on the album with his fellow SS501 members.
