Navi covers Katy Perry on KJE's Chocolate

Already famous for her soulful voice and soulful covers of many hit K-pop songs, Navi has apparently moved on to the American pop scene, as her showcase on Kim Jeong-Eun's Chocolate included a cover of Katy Perry's "Hot & Cold". Blistering barnacles - what a performance! Navi's impressive vocal prowess isn't exactly a secret, but she really displays an energy and kickass-ness not really seen in her own low-key songs. It's also nice to hear a native Korean cover an American song with more English than Engrish. Hearing the word "bitch" slither past the oft-strict Korean censors was rather cool as well. Navi also did a short interview on the show, and capped her appearance on KJE's Chocolate with a rendition of her own song, "My Heart Is Injured", with guest rapper Nassun. Who knew that Nassun actually had some cutie in him? His haircut is a huge improvement over his old 'do, and it's hard to imagine that this is the same guy who was yelling "d-d-d-d-d-dat gurl" in Lee Hyori's 2008 hit "U Go Girl".
