Just days after the title track "Mirotic" was released, DBSK / TVXQ / Tohoshinki already occupies a #1 spot on the Dorisak music chart. Mirotic is also high on the list of other charts such as JukeOn and MNet, and should occupy the #1 spot on those charts shortly. Which is quite an accomplishment... but speaking of accomplishment's... Dong Bang Shin Ki's official 4th album is scheduled to be released on September 24th. However it's already the best selling album in Korea this year. How is this possible? Because of the 300,000+ preorders of the album, which broke an all-time preorder record which was formerly held by Seo Taiji in 2004. 300,000 preorder albums is a remarkable number if you consider the fact that the best selling album in Korea last year only had around 190,000 total sales. In 2006, DBSK's 3rd album was the highest selling album with 350,000 sales. More than 30,000 people attended the DBSK Mirotic 4th album showcase in Seoul yesterday. In a slumping CD sales market, DBSK still shows that you can sell a high amount despite the market conditions. Even before the album is released, they've achieved a lot... which is remarkable. I can't wait for their first comeback performance which is scheduled to be on September 28th's Inkigayo.
