As One's Gender Change

Posted by TheProdigy1 pt Wednesday, May 14, 2008

..Oops, I meant genre change, although one definitely does look manly. As One, our 2 favorite Korean Americans are back with a new singles album titled "Double Star" (released today). As One has decided to follow the craze of house/dance songs that has recently flooded the market (Epik High's "One", Jewelry's "One More Time" Remix). The album contains a total of 5 songs, three of them being new remixes of previous hits (what else is new). The two new songs, "Kiss Me" and "You" are pretty catchy but have short rapping bits by an unknown male idiot. The album "Double Star" is supposed to symbolize unity and "the perfect unison of one"...since when does 2 equal 1? Anyway, the two R&B singers have decided to change their look to go along with the change in genre. Crystal is more "feminine" and Lee Min has adopted a "cute boyish look." Because two totally opposite things, once again signify unity, of course. These girls have been around since 1999 and it's great to see them doing well, or rather stil alive. Regardless, it nice and refreshing to see the girls changing things up, as I hate R&B groups like Fly To The Sky who release the same album over and over.
