Some Korean fans were angered by Mariah Carey's behavior during her recent concert in Seoul and harshly criticized the singer and even demanded their money back.
On October 8, Mariah Carey held her concert, 'The Elusive Chanteuse Show,' in Seoul's Olympic Park. It was reported that her signature dolphin-like vocals hitting high notes were nowhere to be heard and it was mostly only the chorus and the band that filled the sounds of the arena.

In addition, those who attended the concert criticized that the world star singer was 20 minutes late to her concert, forgot the lyrics to one of her songs, and didn't even answer to an encore request and left the stage without any special farewell. There were also comments that criticized her indecent attitude towards her fans in Korea.
"What is this, it's she's like ignoring Korea"
"She's here as a part-timer. She's a ripened 'has-been'"
"It's not like the first time foreign artists came here and did the same. Haha. The ones who still like foreign music and only listen to foreign music are the stupid ones when the foreign artists are the ones who ignores us kekeke."
