The trend in Korean TV lately seems to be ridiculous slapfests. From the "kimchi slap" to the "back-and-forth-everybody-gets-a-slap" slap, everyone's slapping and backhanding until cheeks get sore and ears bleed from the screeching. The trend is hilarious; so of course, the internet had to do its thing and make a remix.
The trending remix, which has gained over 200,000 views, involves a variety of clips, but the three main slaps that are featured come from two sources. One source is the "kimchi slap" that went viral online after it was aired via the MBC morning drama 'Everyday, Kimchi!' Check out the original in the clip below!
The other source is these two slaptastic Lotte CFs. The product they're advertising? Well, why don't you see for yourself.
All that yelling and rage to advertise... tea. They're advertising tea. More specifically, 'Calming Tea', telling drama queens all over the world to pipe the hell down with a nice brew. I'll drink to that. Now to watch on repeat.
