Heo Su, a Korean YouTuber who uploads videos under the name EXBC Entertainment, decided to test the theory which can be seen in the clip above.

In the trending video titled "When a girl is kidnapped and is gagged can she really not scream [for help]?", Heo Su puts tape over her mouth and screams, "SAVE ME," multiple times. She bursts into laughter upon instant realization that no amount of tape is enough to stop her from going crazy. Even when there's an attempt to shut her mouth with additional vertical tape, and even when she twists the tape into a gag, she is still able to scream for help, her words only slightly muffled. 

Moral of the story? Don't let a piece of tape stop you from your freakout!
