The pickets were whimsical and witty stating things such as, "Let's live without a bra," and "Who is this nipple coverage for?" and more.
One of the protesting members commented, "I didn't wear a bra for two years. It's strange that society looks at you strangely because you don't do something you feel uncomfortable with." She also added, "This is the first time I attended a protest like this. It's a lot more exciting and fun than I thought it would be."
Bystanders were focused on whether or not they actually had bras on. A group of boys questioned, "Do they really not have it on? It seems like they do?" And even mocked, "They're crazy."
However, there were also those who were more open-minded about the protest and one even commented, "I saw someone who cursed at them but I think the protesting women seem rather confident and charismatic."
Joo Hae Eun, the administrator of the Facebook Page 'This Too is a Protest', commented, "We're not trying to protest against wearing bras but we want to say that women should have the freedom to choose whether to wear or not to wear."
There were also various other reasons to protesting against bras such as health issues, they're uncomfortable, they make things too sweaty, they don't fit well, there is no real good reason to wear a bra, and more. However, the shared thoughts amongst the group was that "There should be no sexual prejudice against a woman's bosom without a bra on."
