G-Dragon is expected to make a comeback in the first half of next year.

According to multiple music industry insiders, G-Dragon plans to accelerate work on his postponed solo album.

Initially, G-Dragon had announced his comeback for this year. However, his plans were hindered in October when he was charged with a drug violation under the Narcotics Control Act. G-Dragon immediately declared, "I have never used drugs," and voluntarily appeared at the police station for investigation. Both the rapid drug test and the detailed examination by the National Forensic Service returned negative results. 

Additionally, nightclub manager Mr. A, who had previously claimed witnessing G-Dragon using drugs, changed his statement, leading to the police's final decision on the 19th not to charge him, citing a lack of evidence.

Though his comeback was temporarily derailed by this unforeseen issue, G-Dragon has proven his innocence and is now refocusing on his return to music.

While a specific album release date has not yet been set, G-Dragon has been consistently working on new songs and is strongly motivated to return, aiming for a comeback as early as the first half of next year. This upcoming album, his first in over seven years since the release of 'Kwon Ji Yong' in 2017, is said to have received a great deal of effort and energy. After his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment (YG) ended, G-Dragon reportedly held meetings with various agencies, carefully considering which would best align with his musical vision and direction.

G-Dragon, known for his unique color and style in both Big Bang and solo hits like 'Untitled', 'Crayon', 'That XX', 'Who You?', and 'Crooked', has proven his talent and popularity, raising high expectations for his comeback.

On the other news, Galaxy Corporation, recently rumored to have signed an exclusive contract with G-Dragon, plans to hold a press conference on the 21st morning to discuss the drug case, responses to malicious comments, and future activities.
