Super Junior's Heechul comments on his previous drunken livestream controversy

Super Junior's Heechul commented on his previous controversy during a livestream.

Super Junior's Heechul commented on his previous drunken livestream controversy during his appearance on TEO's variety content series "Salon Drip". Here, Heechul talked about cutting out carbohydrates from his diet, rather than cutting alcohol, to watch his weight. When MC Jang Do Yeon asked whether he has any intention to cut off alcohol, Heechul answered, "I promised my fans that I would reduce drinking. I very rarely drink, but when I do, I drink quietly."

Jang Do Yeon then humorously brought up Heechul's previous drunken livestream controversy, where he got drunk during a live broadcast and began swearing out loud on camera. Heechul replied, "What was the question again?" trying to change the subject in a joking manner. He then hilariously stated, "I have a type that I don't like, and it's the people who drink alcohol and do live broadcasts while cursing ruthlessly." Jang Do Yeon then told him, "Turn on your camera in selfie mode, and try to say that again", bringing the set to erupt in laughter.

It was one of the more interesting things from the Korean entertainment industry that has happened in recent months. Whatever he was saying at the time, whether I agreed with it or didn't like it, it was sincere, and I prefer that to the fakeness of people in the entertainment industry.
