IVE's Jang Won Young confessed that she doesn't want to get a driver's license.

Jang Won Young recently shared her honest thoughts and confessed that she wants to ride in the passenger side of a vehicle for the rest of her life and doesn't want to get a driver's license.

On June 27, Cosmopolitan Korea uploaded an interview video with Jang Won Young, where she shares how she feels about becoming an adult. During the interview, Jang Won Young was asked, "If you were to get a driver's license, where is the place you want to drive to yourself?"

In response, Jang Won Young said, "To be honest, I have no thoughts on getting a driver's license. I feel like I would die while driving because I would be so nervous. So I was thinking I should ride in the passenger side forever." But she went on to answer, "If I were to drive, then I want to go to...Hawaii."

She also shared that she would time-travel to when she is 23 and explained, "(If I were to time travel) I would go to (the time) when I am 23. I think it's such a pretty age. I can't wait until that day (I turn 23)."

Jang Won Young also shared how she felt on turning 20. She said, "I can't believe I'm already 20...I'm an adult and I feel I became more mature." During the interview, she was also asked when she feels like a real adult and Jang Won Young adorably replied, "When I have to wake up early in the morning but I wake up at once."

You have to keep in mind that she lives in Seoul, a massive city, and it's no different than how many people who live in New York City don't bother getting a driver's license because public transit is so plentiful. The subway system is immaculate in Korea, and there are of course plenty of buses, cabs, etc. as well.

Also, I recall deaths from car accidents in Korea are so unusually numerous that an official US page about traveling to other countries literally warned travelers about it. (I read the page in advance of the year that I lived in Seoul.) So, hey, it's not the worst idea to skip driving.
