After a long wait, the Netflix series 'Black Knight' is set to be released on the 12th of this month.

Set in the year 2071 on the Korean Peninsula, 'Black Knight' portrays a dystopian future where extreme air pollution has made it impossible for people to survive without oxygen respirators. The story follows the legendary courier driver '5-8' and the refugee 'Sa Wol' as they confront the Chunmyeong Group, the dominant force in this new world.

Netflix Korea has been building anticipation for the series by releasing still cuts via their official social media accounts on May 5. These teasers offer a glimpse into the gripping storyline that awaits viewers. With its unique premise and talented cast, 'Black Knight' is poised to captivate audiences when it debuts on May 12 after a long wait.

The recently released stills from 'Black Knight' give us a glimpse of the cast and the backdrop against which this dynamic story unfolds. The series depicts a world where cities have been rapidly desertified after a comet impact, leading to a poor environment where even oxygen is scarce. The show's attention-grabbing premise centers around people living in these harsh conditions.

Actor Kim Woo Bin portrays courier driver 5-8, who is responsible for delivering oxygen during the day, an essential job that keeps people alive. At night, he leads a double life as a black knight fighting against the world's injustices. Song Seung Hun plays Ryu Seok, the cruel heir to the Chunmyeong Group, who becomes jealous of his father's achievements. Meanwhile, Kang Yoo Seok portrays Sa Wol, a former refugee who seeks training from 5-8 to become a courier driver, the only hope for refugees. Lee Som plays Seol Ah, a military intelligence major.

According to Netflix Korea, 'Black Knight' will showcase a gripping story about those who rule the world and those who fight against injustice. Viewers can expect a fierce fight for survival in this 6-episode series, which will premiere exclusively on Netflix. The series boasts an impressive cast, including Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Hun, Kang Yoo Seok, Lee Som, Kim Eui Sung, Lee Ju Seung, Yoo In Hyuk, and Jin Kyung.
