Hook Entertainment has issued an official statement to clarify actress Park Min Young's involvement in the ongoing police investigation of Kang Jong Hyun, suspected of acquiring huge illegal profits through stock manipulation.
Previously, some media outlets claimed that Park Min Young was called in for police questioning on February 13 under suspicions that she may have been voluntarily involved in Kang Jong Hyun's fraudulent activities.
Now, on February 15 KST, Hook Entertainment clarified, "We would like to offer some clarification on earlier reports publicized on February 14, which stated that Park Min Young was called in for police questioning, and that she has been banned from leaving South Korea. In fact, Park Min Young was called in for questioning on February 13 as a mere witness in the current investigation, but the police did not ban her from traveling outside of the country. We apologize for delivering unpleasant news during these difficult times, as well as for the agency's belated response."
Currently, it is believed that Kang Jong Hyun, Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend, used Park Min Young's name among others while obtaining illegal investment bonds through affiliate companies of Bithumb.

First thing is first; whoever styles her fashion, give her bleached face and eyebrows; and that scary clown carrot color long extensions need to be fired; she looks terrible! Secondly, she is honestly a terrible actress (that frozen bleached face reflects emotions as good as a parrot); getting main roles because of connections and corruptions. Meanwhile, every show she is in has low ratings and talented actresses don't get a chance to shine. It would be a blessing if they stop casting her in Main Roles. She looks too old, not fresh, badly dressed and her delivery of lines is filled with difficulties. For the love of god, cast her as the mother of the bride, not the bride; the weird cousin crashing the party drunk, or whatever. She should not have roles that require her to be the main presence in every scene in every episode; honestly it is annoying to see her make the cute young talented actors work 400 times harder to make the attraction believable and it still fails when they have to hug or kiss a bleached white rock.
