Han Areum Company trainee Kim Tae Min of Mnet's 'Produce 101' season 2 will be leaving the show due to an illness.
His label took to an official statement on May 19 (KST) to announce that Kim Tae Min is suffering from bowel obstruction, after having visited the hospital for stomach pains last week. He was "advised to undergo surgery as soon as possible", and so the label "decided that it would be impossible for Kim Tae Min to continue appearing on 'Produce 101' season 2."
Han Areum continued, "Kim Tae Min, who was very passionate about the show, is also sad to leave, but we will do our best so that he can recover as quickly as possible after his surgery and return."
