'The Legend of the Blue Sea' also did exceedingly well in viewer ratings. The first episode hit two digits right away, recording 16.4% according to calculations by Nielsen Korea. This is 2% higher than 'Descendants of the Sun's viewer ratings for its first episode, which recorded 14.3%.�Meanwhile, new�KBS�drama 'Oh My Geum Bi', and MBC�drama 'Weightlifting�Fairy Kim Bok Joo' recorded 5.9% and 3.3% respectively, on November 15.�

Many are expecting 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' to bring forth another drama syndrome similar to 'DOTS'.�
