BTS's J-Hope is noticeable with his growth in this album. He discussed his 2 solo tracks in the group's new album, 'WINGS', during a press conference on October 10.
BTS's title song, "Blood, Sweat & Tears" comprises a lethargic yet charismatic vocal and low-tone rapping, revealing a new layer of BTS's musical style. The song also captures the overall theme of the album well -- having to face the shadow of the evil and conflicts against the outside world as well as the coming-of-age experience.
During the press conference, J-Hope happily shared, "I had the luxury of doing 2 solo tracks on this album... I got the baton after Rap Monster and SUGA, who did the intro track for the previous albums... I also worked hard on the choreography because it was very high-level this time."

He added, "I was happy to get compliments from the choreographer; I knew that my 'blood, sweat, and tears' weren't for nothing."
J-Hope couldn't contain his joy as he shared, "We released the medley highlights because the album was released, but everyone was still excited for it....I am so happy. I love it."
