Lee Sung Kyung will be taking on female lead Kim Bok Joo, an aspiring weightlifter currently in her 2nd year in college who seems strong and hard on the outside but is soft and delicate on the inside. Opposite her, Nam Joo Hyuk will be taking on Jung Joon Hyung, another 2nd year swimmer with a traumatic experience after his first swimming competition. Kyung Soo Jin will be playing 2nd female lead Song Si Ho, a 3rd year gymnast and ex-girlfriend of Jung Joon Hyung.
Finally, Lee Jae Yoon wraps up the main cast as Jung Jae Yi, an expert on obesity as well as a kind and warm figure standing by Kim Bok Joo's side.
'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo' is set to air sometime in November, after 'Shopping King Louie', which premieres September 21.
