Following demands by viewers, KBS' 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' has officially announced cast member Tiffany's leave from the popular variety show.
On August 18, 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' stated, "The producers and Tiffany's agency SM Entertainmentdiscussed her recent issue involving the Rising Sun Flag on the National Liberation Day of Korea on August 15. After meeting, we agreed the controversy affected citizen sentiment and decided on Tiffany's leave from the show."
The producers also revealed the remaining members, Kim Sook, Jessi, Ra Mi Ran, Min Hyo Rin, and Hong Jin Kyung, will continue on as 5 with no addition to the cast. The August 19th episode of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' has also been canceled due to the '2016 Rio Olympics', and reps of the show stated the cancellation has nothing to do with Tiffany's controversy.
The next episode is set to air on the 26th KST.
