According to data revealed by Oricon Style on the morning of July 28, Taemin's debut Japanese album 'Sayonara Hitori' sold 38,490 on the first day of release, and shot up to third place on the daily albums chart.
Taemin had said during a promotional event for his debut Japanese album, "I thought that I wanted to express a new world view that I wasn't able to express in SHINee [through this album]. I want to expose my inner self through each of the five songs."
I think we can safely say that Taemin fulfilled his wishes through this album!
