The police have confirmed the DNA evidence submitted by the first alleged sexual assault victim is a match to Yoochun.
On July 7, Seoul's Gangnam Police Station stated Yoochun has been confirmed as the source of the male DNA found on underwear submitted by the first woman who accused him of sexual assault. Though this does cement that Yoochun and the woman had sexual relations, it does not qualify as sufficient evidence for rape.
However, the evidence does point to the fact that Yoochun attended an adult entertainment bar and had relations with one of the employees during his military service. Reports also say that he is likely to be cleared of charges in the first sexual assault case, but this has yet to be confirmed by police.
Police will continue to investigate the first claim as well as the remaining 3 sexual assault cases.
