Around a month ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment and Interactive Media Mix (IMX) announced that anime and game franchise 'The Idolmaster' will be remade into a live-action Korean drama series.

Fast forward to the present, and this live adaptation has officially set the gears in motion for broadcast! The live-action version, titled 'Idolmaster.KR,' sets itself apart from the anime series by casting actual idols in K-Entertainment.
It appears auditions for spots in the drama has already begun. Once the auditions are over, viewers around the world will get to vote for their favorite idols, and the top 15 get to star in the show for a chance to form a new idol group.
