Thinking about coming to Korea this summer? If so, Hanyang University is probably one of the best options for you! Hanyang International Summer School (HISS) is hosted annually for 4 weeks in July. It's a program specially designed for students from all over the world and offers a well-balanced mix of high quality academics and lots of fun-packed field trips for you to enjoy. You won't experience Korean culture and lifestyle in a better way than this!

Hanyang offers over 100 courses in various fields of study. On the course list you can find very unique courses like Taekwondo and Ceramic Arts, but they also offer your daily dose of Korean language, culture and media related courses. 

For all you K-pop fans Hanyang also offers a seminar where special guest speakers are invited who currently are engaged in the media and entertainment industry. Stars like Dongwong Kang, Keun-Suk Jang, Lee Byung Hun, Il-Woo Chung and Young-ae Lee are all alumni of Hanyang University!

Besides studying, there is also a lot of time for fun! Hanyang offers 5 free field trips which introduce you to different parts of Korean culture and lifestyle. Think about history, industry and technology, music and entertainment, and leisure and festivals.

Over the last years HISS has grown beyond their own expectations. Last year HISS had over 1200 students from over 30 different countries. It doesn't really get more international than that! You'll meet people from all over the world and create friendships that will last far longer than the 4 weeks you spend with them on Hanyang University.
