1. 'Cheese In The Trap' Bora
'Cheese In The Trap' offered an array of interesting characters but when it comes to someone who was always there (and less complicated), no one filled that spot better than Bora. The sweet-as-a-puppy Bora was animated, cheerful but also strong in the sense that she didn't take crap from nobody. Unlike Hong Seol, who always seemed to never easily make up her mind, Bora was more direct and charming to viewers because of her blunt, outgoing personality. What was even cuter was her hidden temper if someone tries to pull any funny business with her besties!
2. 'She Was Pretty' Kim Shin Hyuk
Not only a total hottie that anyone would want by their side, Siwon stole the show as the charming reporter Kim Shin Hyuk. His witty lines, clever nature and overall happy-go-lucky style made him the comic relief that the sometimes stuffy Hye Jin needed. Plus, no one can forget those shirtless towel scenes. Fan-service times 100!
3. 'School 2015?' Kong Tae Gwang
The popular BTOB singer Sungjae was winning people's hearts left in right, both in the drama and the viewers. A total mischievous imp, he was known around campus as the troublemaker, which was down to ruse his painful past and family relationships.Upon meeting Lee Eun Bi, Kong Tae Gwang was like glue, always by her side-- even through her many moments of suffering. His attachment to Lee Eun Bi made him a total fan-favorite.
4. 'High Society' Yoo Chang Soo
Chaebols...Chaebols everywhere! Despite Chaebol children being known for maintaining a snobby attitude, Yoo Chang Soo offered a more likable trait that saved the rest of the Chaebols some face. As the show progresses, Yoo Chang Soo becomes smitten for the sweet Ji Yi, Yoon Ha's best friend. Love bonds between two supporting characters are one of the most charming things to see, and Yoo Chang Soo is no exception. It is even more sweet how Yoo Chang Soo adores Ji Yi for the fact that she likes him as a person and overlooks his wealthy status.
5. 'Protect the Boss' Lee Myung Ran
When in need, Lee Myung Ran is the friend indeed. Seriously, she can not go unnoticed as she was always there with a tissue in hand and shoulder to cry on during Eun Seol's many hair-pulling dilemmas. Her strong advice also goes unmatched with her physical strength as she dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler (quite the unique career). Who doesn't want a friend that will kick someone's ass for talking smack? Forget the tissues, we got real issues (and interest) with Lee Myung Ran, bruh.
6. 'Mischievous Kiss' Jung Joo-ri & Dokgo Min Ah
Ha Ni was a complex character and definitely stuck out from the rest of the school students, both academically and socially. Despite feeling a bit outcasted, she had some real good best friends by her side that made her feel like she was perfect and made every viewer awe-stricken. The comical and always eating Jung Joo-ri and shy yet opinionated Dokgo Min Ah stick with Ha Ni through thick and thin, like any high school bestie would, and their humorous banter and daily doses of encouragement made them the unforgettable happy viruses of the show!
7. 'Happiness In The Wind' Ha Solji
Ha Solji was quite the memorable character who may have appeared timid and reserved, but she also had quite a lot to say-- especially when it came to Minguk and Kwon Oh Bok. She never let her friends be taken advantage of and even offered her home and care to Kwon Oh Bok when she fled from home. She always let her caring side show even when she was giving a good scolding. It was also charming to see her quirky love interest with Minguk blossom into a silly but adorable relationship. Watch at 13:15.
8. 'Descendants of the Sun' - Seo Dae Young
While many dramas jump between one or two love plots, there is one that became an ultimate love story for many viewers. His dedication and loyalty to his work, despite his deep feelings for Yoon Myung Joo, makes everyone thirst to see them get together and stay together. Seo Dae Young is a charming, charismatic, and masculine character that draws just as much, if not more, attention from the viewers as Yoo Shi Jin.
9. 'Reply 1988' - Junghwan
Believe it or not, 'Reply 1988' offered a cute couple that couldn't be overshadowed. The fun bickering of Junghwan and Deok Sun pleased the crowd in an instant because of the relatable and realistic connection between them. Junghwan is an average joe with a rough around the edges attitude that somehow steals your attention. Don't question it-- just love Junghwan.
10. 'City Hunter' Bae Man Duk
Lee Yoon Sung is one lucky guy to have the humorous, crazy-looking Bae Man Duk by his side. After saving him from a gang of thugs in Thailand, Bae Man Duk soon becomes Lee Yoon Sung's partner in crime and personal chef as the show progress. His background story garnered the interest of many viewers as he witnessed the accident that happened to Kim Na Na but was paid to hide out in Thailand and change his alibi.
