Yoo Ah In will be making a special appearance in the drama 'Descendants of the Sun'. It's reported the actor completed filming last December despite his busy schedule with his own drama 'Six Flying Dragons'.

His connection to 'Descendants of the Sun' is due to his strong friendship with Song Joong K and Song Hye Kyo. Yoo Ah In is known to be close friends with Song Hye Kyo, and he became close with Song Joong Ki when they co-starred in 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal'.

Yoo Ah In previously showed his support for the series by sending over a food truck to the drama set last September with a message that read, "'Staff of 'Descendant of the Sun' Fighting! From Yoo Ah In." Song Hye Kyo then updated her Instagram with a photo of the food truck with captions that read, "Actor Yoo, thank you, the food was good. And the coffee too!".
